BATB064_The bobby pin trick you never knew!

Have you ever worn a 'kirby grip' (or as my American friends call them, ‘bobby pins'? 💁‍♀️

I often use them to pin my hair out of my face when I’m applying my makeup…and they’re always handy to have in your makeup bag! 👍

But, have you ever found that they wont grip or stay in your hair?

Well, I recently learnt this amazing trick, and it's simplicity completely astounded me! 🤯

 

When you put a kirby grip into your hair, place the bumpy side downwards, so all you will see is the smooth side!

The flat, straight side of the grip blends into the hair and is barely visible and the bumpy side provides extra grip against the hair you are pinning in place! 👏

So simple…yet so genius! 🤯

To hold your kirby grips in place for even longer, simply give them a spray with a little hairspray. They will feel a little sticky, but will provide an extra bit of grip, which makes a whole lot of difference! 💁‍♀️✨
