So many lovely women I meet tell me they struggle to do a smokey eye that’s soft and sultry and compliments their age.
I have selected these two products because they work brilliantly together on all skin tones, to give you an effortless smokey eye look that even a makeup novice can achieve:
1. Daniel Sandler Velvet Waterproof Eyeliner in Purple
The luxurious feel of the Velvet Waterproof Eyeliner glides on like silk and the Purple shade really makes every eye colour stand out. It’s waterproof, but you can still smudge it before it sets, giving great staying power that won’t melt away.
2. Daniel Sandler Matte Shadow in Tornado
The Tornado eyeshadow is just dark enough to give the right amount of emphasis without looking too harsh. This shade and formulation gives a natural, soft frame, making the whites of your eyes look much brighter. You can also use this as a lower lash definer during the day, to make eyes look bigger and softer, without the need for the hard line of a dark pencil.
These two products have been expertly designed by Daniel Sandler – one of the UK’s favourite Makeup Artists. Daniel has worked with some of the most beautiful women in the world and his knowledge and experience has enabled him to create the very best quality beauty products for your makeup bag.
My Tutorial For You…
My Top Beauty Tips…
Take the Velvet Waterproof Eyeliner close to the upper lash line, gliding forwards and backwards along its length. Don’t worry about creating a straight, perfect line; this eyeliner actually looks better when you smudge it into place with your little finger. To intensify your eyes gently line the upper and lower, inner waterline of your eye.
Next, apply the Matte Shadow onto the middle of your eyelid and blend through to the outer end. Now blend it into the socket, so that the colour permeates upwards.
Using a brush or a Q-tip, pick up some more Matte Shadow and brush gently along the lower lash line to create a nice soft frame to the eye. Smudge the line out with your finger under the lower lash, so that it doesn’t look too heavy. Keep it soft and pretty. If you find it looking too heavy, simply take a clean Q-tip and dip it in a little face cream and swipe to simply remove any unwanted eyeshadow.
Lastly, once more take the Velvet Waterproof Eyeliner and go back over the line you created first of all along your top lash line. This is when you may like to wing the liner out a little at the outer edges.
Apply a little mascara and you are good to go!
