My Top Beauty Tips…
To brighten eyes:Very gently pull down the bottom lid just a little, using the blunted tip of the pencil (warm between your fingertips, so that it is soft), gently colour in the lower water line. Now gently draw the pencil in the ‘V’ of the inner corner of your eye (around your tear duct area). Blend with your finger. Eyes will instantly look brighter!
To cover spots:Gently draw directly on top of the spot and gently blend outwards. Set with translucent powder.
To lift the eye:Draw a line directly under your eyebrow from the arch of your brow to the end of your brow, now softly blend the line with your finger for a more lifted brow bone.
To create a fuller looking lip:Apply your regular lipstick shade. Now use the pencil to draw a ‘V’ above the upper lip in the ‘cupids bow’ now blend the line. Next, apply a little of the pencil in the middle of your bottom lip now smudge your lips together to blend. The aim is to make the centre of the lower lip a little lighter (in a non-obvious way). Together, the added light in the centre of the lips and on the Cupid’s bow will give the illusion of fuller lips!
To make the nose look more refined:Simply draw a line down the bridge of the nose and blend. By making the length of the bridge of the nose slightly lighter you will be creating a more defined bone structure and symmetry to the face! This is a little trick us makeup artists do to models on photo shoots all the time!
To make cheekbones look higher:First, locate your cheekbones, this is easy to do, just place your thumb directly above your ear tragus (the little nub that sticks out). Then, place your index finger directly below your nostril. This line that your hand creates is exactly where every person’s cheekbone is located on their face. Now, use the pencil to draw a line on the otter edge of your cheekbones and blend with your finger.
To add a youthful glow:Take the pencil and draw and fill a thumb sized circle in the centre of your chin and forehead. Now blend the pencil outwards. By adding a little light to these areas you will be creating a glow that gently contours and further refines the shape of your face and enhances your bone structure.
